Finely detailed 1/72 scale assembly model kit of the Hanseatic League (also known as "Hansa") cog ship. The Hanseatic League was an alliance of trading cities and their guilds that established and maintained trade monopoly along the coast of Northern Europe, from the Baltic to the North Sea and inland, during the Late Middle Ages and Early modern period (13th?17th centuries). The sturdy and spacious cog ships were capable of crossing even the most dangerous seas, and the cogs became the workhorse of the Hanseatic League. Split hull for waterline version. Separate rudder. Capstan. Detailed forecastle & stern gallery. Escutcheons. Ladders. Detailed anchor. Plastic sail in 2 variants: unfurled or reefed. Rigging yarn.
